Prominent researcher to appear at Connecticut event presented by Senator Christopher Dodd on Saturday, May 15
Dr. Hugh A. Sampson, Director of the Jaffe Food Allergy Institute at Mount Sinai Medical Center (New York, NY), will be the guest speaker at "Food Allergy Awareness Week: A Forum for Families and Stakeholders," presented by Senator Christopher J. Dodd at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain on Saturday, May 15 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. The forum, which is open to the public and free of charge, will be streamed live. The forum will feature a panel of food allergy experts, which will share information on managing food allergies at home, in school, away at college, and in restaurants. The panelists will also discuss the latest federal policies and medical advances aimed at protecting and enhancing the lives of those who live with food allergies and their families. Following the discussion, the audience will have the opportunity to ask questions.
