FAI Chicago

Founded in 2007 by a group of dedicated local parents, FAI Chicago is a local extension of the national FAI organization. FAI Chicago's goals are to raise money to find a cure for food allergies, and to support advocacy, community education, and public awareness efforts that raise the visibility of food allergies.

The first regional office of FAI, FAI Chicago works closely with the national office to create a unified voice for people affected by food allergies.  Since 2007, FAI Chicago has raised approximately $5 million, principally through a gala benefit each fall.  At the benefit, we honor a family that has made signficant contributions to the food allergy issue.  In 2012, FAI Chicago will inaugurate a new signature event, the Spring Luncheon.
